Renee Parsons visits Hushabye Nursery
At Hushabye Nursery we focus on families whose babies are born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. Experiencing the struggles of babies exposed to opioids at birth, as well as the numerous challenges moms face, is heartbreaking. Hushabye Nursery is committed to supporting families in need. As a result, babies are brought through detox in the most compassionate and knowledgeable way possible: dim lighting, calm surroundings, and endless cuddling and rocking. Moms, dads, or any other caregivers who remain with their babies throughout the recovery process are also provided with services, both before birth and during the recovery process.
In honor of March’s Women’s History Month, Renee Parsons visited Hushabye Nursery and spoke with Executive Director and Co-Founder, Tara Sundem.
